Wedding Reception
How many tables and chairs do you have?
We have 13 round tables and 125 chairs, plus long top tables for up to 10 guests. We have 5ft and 6ft tables, along with a 3ft cake table.
Is there room for a band or DJ and dancing?
Yes. We have a gorgeous space for a dance floor in The Garden Room and there’s space for the entertainment too.
How many plug sockets do you have in the entertainment area?
We have 6 accessible sockets for DJs and bands.
Do you have a sound limiter?
No, we don’t currently have a sound limiter.
Do you have any audio-visual facilities we could use for the speeches?
We do. You are welcome to use our projector.
Do you have a microphone?
Unfortunately, we can’t provide microphones for speeches but chat to your entertainment providers, as they may be able to help.
Do you have a PA system?
Yes, we have a system to play background music during the ceremony and wedding breakfast, although it's not suitable for evening entertainment.
Entertainment
Can we have sparklers?
Yes, you can use sparklers outside on the terrace.
Can we have a fire pit or fireworks?
Sorry, no.
Can we have a confetti cannon?
You’re welcome to use a confetti cannon for the first dance, however, we ask that you use clear white paper only.
Are smoke machines permitted?
Due to the sensitivity of our fire alarm system, smoke machines are sadly not permitted.
Timings
What time can we access the venue on the day?
Suppliers can set up from 10am and earlier access can be arranged in advance, subject to availability.
What time does the bar close/music finish?
The bar closes at midnight and the venue closes at 1am.
Is there a late license?
Yes, there is a late license by prior arrangement.
Accommodation
What time is checkout the day after the wedding?
10am.
Can we stay the night before the wedding/hire the venue for the whole weekend?
Yes, subject to availability.
Can our guests camp on the grounds of Holbrook Manor?
No, but we have ample accommodation inside and can recommend some brilliant hotels and B&Bs nearby for extra guests.
General
Can we bring pets?
We allow pets in our Garden Room only but there is an additional charge for this.
Is the venue air-conditioned?
No, we do not have any air conditioning.
Are patio heaters provided free of charge?
Sorry, they are not.
Can a helicopter land at the venue?
Yes, subject to prior arrangement.
What are your prices?
We have full wedding packages starting from just £6,000. You can see our prices at the back of our downloadable brochure. Go to the Contact Us button at the top right of the page and choose the "Get Our Brochure" option.
